I personally don't really like the Z600. Me big fan of clamshells - had a Startac, 3688+, V60...
But imho it looks like it could have lost some weight and trimmed off a wee bit on every dimension... But hey, we've covered that right?
Was wondering whether it has the sweet Moto V60 opening feeling? Can it be opened one handed?
I know... use the search...

I used to dislike clamshell phones. After using the Z600 for a while, I can say this is the best clamshell phone so far. I have no issue on the weight, to me it is LIGHT. Thick.... to me it is kinda thick, but I still can bear with it. Overall I am very satisfied with the phone.
Compared Z600 with a friend's Samsung V200 (the one with rotating camera), the display IMHO is better, and the ringtonez are also much clearer. My friend also agrees with me on this point.
No regrets in buying the Z600. SE ruleZ!!!

Z600 is huge! it stinks it stinks!
you may aswell get two T610s and join with a piano hinge this way you get the same size phone as the Z600 and the functonality of two handsets!
feature wise is good but a clamshell is all about style not functionality!
so a V600 or E700 win the crown of best current clamshell!
Good try SE keep trying you will do it one day!

well I don't know about huge... here is a pic I took earlier showing the Z600 is shorter than the T610. Its also marginally wide and about half as thick again.
specifically the:
T610 is 102 x 44 x 19 mm and the
Z600 is 90 x 48 x 27 mm
So the Z600 compares pretty good with these...
V600 87.5 x 47.3 x 22.5 mm
E700 90 x 45 x 23 mm

In my view the z600 is the best phone that I’ve ever had (p800, t610, t68i, z7, z5, 3310) it feels comfortable in the hand, keypad is great screen is nice and clear and feature wise it has everything I want or need.
I think the z600 has a better feature set than every Samsung in there range (don't quote me on that) but It certainly has a much simpler and more viewable U.I than Samsungs. I don't know anything about the Motorola phone so I can't comment on that.
Also it allows for personalisation which I happen to think is the largest and most significant factor in the phone, people like to change things to suit there lifestyle the z600 allows you to do that via, themes, wallpapers, ringtones, screensavers and covers
That’s just my views on the matter. You don’t have to agree with me, but if you don’t then, please don’t flame me as it’s only my opinion.

I have just ordered a z600 at 1st i was reluctant to buy a flip phone because I just hate the whole idea of it.But after seeing one in person I felt I needed to get one I hope the handset doesn't disapoint me.

It won't believe me
Having a Bluetooth adapter on your PC really enables you to get the most out of the phone, especially with regards to customisation. I've just spent about an hour sending pictures, .midi's, and games to the phone after I DL them from the net.

Personally speaking I was waiting for the Z600 to come out as I quite fancied a SE clamshell but when I got to play with one I wasn't that keen... too thick, etc.
Having said that, my g/f absolutely loved it and will be getting her's as soon as T-Mobile bring it out in the UK!
Me, I'll stick to a P900/ T610 for going out, but at the end of the day it all boils down to personal taste.
