I've seen the hbm-30 for £150-160. you can get ipods at around £200 for the new versions, but obviously it depends on size.

And what's the point? it will probably ship with some pants headphones like the p800 did, and you can stick a 128mb duo in a p800, and play oggs from it, much better that way, plus, oh my god, when you get a call, you can answer it, then when it ends... the music carries on... genius... (hint of sarcasm there)

Sorry, but i feel this accessory is really not justified unless I'm really missing something.

EDIT: Oh and you can get duo's for £45 which includes P+P.

IM TALKING ABOUT Australian Dollers ... not UK POUNDS ....idiot ....

£160 = 376.903 AUD anyways .......

and i rekon the HBM-30 is very practical to the fact that if someone calls... u can answer it through the device.......
i dont see the IPOD doing that ... and the HBM-30 is very Small .. and the headphones are quality heads from sony them selves ..... no pantsy headphones like the p800 ...

BTW i have the P800 and since i got the z600 im not going to take 2 fone with me for the fact i can listen to one with mp3 ... so the HBM-30 is more practical to the fact i can leave the z600 in my bag cept for holding it in my hand ....

Actually you can get a device that is a pair of headphones that attaches to both phone AND ipod, and has the exact same functionality...

And please, don't call me an idiot as you refferred to one of your prices in australian dollars, and didn't on the other two so i assumed they could be US dollars. I'm only trying to express a different opinion here as just because it has bluetooth it doesn't make it amazing, I would much rather use a bluespoon as my handsfree, and something that can hold all my songs to listen to music too. But that is just my opinion.

Anyway, enjoy your m3 player when it comes, and i hope the headphones are as good as you say they are. Oh, by the way, where is the mic located for the handsfree??

Oh, and I dont use the p800 headphones by the way, I got one of those adapters from PC-mobile....

So, whats the verdict???

Or did you realise that if the mic is on the headphones that means you can't change them for anything good, and well, if it's on the hbm-30, then that's a bit crap alltogether!

But still, would like a user review, as long as it's fair.

the music player seems real pointless. IMO. Either way just get a p900!

you know the app you install to get the car 100 to work is it a java file and will it work on p900

finally z600 one ugly phone!

the verdict on the HBM-30!!!

when i first got the box on friday this is what i thought !!! "i spent $350Au on a device that comes in a box about the size of 2 p800s" ..... but when i opened it up i knew it was qaulity (im actully a sound engineer but i work at voda to save up some money to start up my own studio).....
the headsphones are quite impressive (u can tell sony built em), they are loud and quality is very clear, but they are abit uncomfy on the ear (im not used to headphones just cliping on the ear) .. the good thing about it is that the microphone is located on the device itself so the headphones can be excangble to something that suites u..... as for the device .. its half made of plastic and aluminium ... so it suites the T610 . the display lights up with white beakground like the NOKIA 8310 .... can read atrac and mp3 ... and can record in atrac .... and also when u play a game on the z600 it plays the sound through the devcie aswell ..IN STEREO
as a hands free its awsome .... it has caller id on the device like the hbh-200 so when some one calls it shows u who is calling..
since the microphone is on the device itself .... u got have the device close to ur mouth so u cant carry it in ur pants pocket ... but u can carry it around ur neck or have it in ur shirt pocket or have it clipped on ur shirt .. what ever suits u and with no prblem with lost in microphone!!!!

so all up .. its a great device I LIKE IT BETTER THEN AN IPOD .... shame about the micro being on the unit it self but its good to the fact u can where any headphones u want ......

OK ..... phew
