no bluexp is not as good, but if you can make a alternetive mod with lager start menu, i dont know if its hard but i woult be cool

It's probably me being a thicky thick thick person, but how do you delete icons from the desktop? I can't see any recycle bin or menu item or some such, so how's it done?

The only icons you'll be able to delete are those which you add yourself.
The icons which are already on the screen are those which EyeBeem coded into the skin. These cannot be removed.

There are two ways,
you can either take Screen Shots of the Skin and use these to make your own skin, which omits these icons,
The other (easier) is to add your own shortcuts using the menu option in the top left corner,
Either use icons big enough to cover them, or make your own images for icons, copy them onto the phone and use these images with the 'use custom icons' option.
Then place the icons over the originals.

Making sure that Menu\Desktop\Lock Icons is unticked,
select the icon and drag it.
As you do the recycle bin will appear on the top right hand side.
move your icon over this and it will be removed.
On the main desktop the bin is the one from Xp.
On the Contacts and Today View it is a large red X

Ahh OK, got it, thanks. Didn't realise that the bin appeared when icon was dragged. Can't see why recycle bin isn't visible all the time.

Never really thought of it,
suppose it keeps the skin clean and lets users know which one is the bin.
I find it handy as i tuck it behind my usual buttons when making skins.
Mainly to keep it clean...
