Yet AGAIN the Nokia knowledge of Esato members amazes me.
You say it's just like a remodel of 3650. Let me dissapoint you: it is not. The 7700 is based on the new Series 90 UI (fully comparable to UIQ 2.0/2.1) and Symbian OS 7.0s (you seem to think it doesn't have Symbian at all) which beats the hell out of 3650's Series 60 and Symbian OS 6.1. It has a 640 x 320 65K colour screen against P800's 208 x 320 4K screen. Both have touch sensitivity and handwriting recognition. The 7700 has EDGE which even the P900 lacks. It has 20-25MB internal memory against P800/P900's 12MB. Theoretically both can have up to 1GB of external memory (maximum SD/MMC capacity). The 7700 has a pre-installed RealOne Player, Opera browser, Visual Radio, in-built FM Radio, MP3 player and support for the digital TV receiver add-on. And funnily Nokia said it's not even trying to be a PDA but the first device of their new Media category.
The new Communicator (to be announced in spring) supposedly adds a QWERTY keyboard to all that. You can bash the 7700's looks all you want but you can't underestimate its features like you do with most Nokias (often without even looking at the specs).

Well about what you said I know the spec of 7700 (well i was there when they want to desgin the 7700,) and at the same time reading the features and specs of nokia so i know it by hand...
and i know its a symbian based (hehe) OSand i really like the extra mem it has...
i am a loyal SE, and nokia is just second best for me (some people hates me when i say SE is better than Nokia)

Hey Finn- dont worry. I agree with you.
Yet, I dont think the 7700 is a good looking phone, but whats with these crap comments about Nokia screen quality??
My 3650 screen SH*TS!!!!!!! all over any SE phone, bar the p900, and even then, its up there. Its bright as hell with awesome resolution, and perfect in daylight.
Here's SE fans saying screen quality is crap, when the T610 has possibly the worst screen on the entire market for colour phones, especially 65K screens. Every phone review says so. You cant even see mine in the daylight.
The 7700 is not that big. Large phones have the features. My 3650 is said to be large- of course its going to be large with a MMC, huge screen, symbian 60 and all the amazing features.
Not that big actually.
If you want a small phone with the features, then Noka comes up trumps every time. Check the 6230 for example.

Look at what you have written. The majority of people on Esato are biased towards SE because they have made a conscience choice to use SE products over Nokia products. Of course we are going to be biased, just as I would expect Nokia users to be biased towards Nokia.
Its really quite simple when you think about it isn't it?

Yes it is Scotty- thats why I was STATING THE OBVIOUS for the first poster, who, if really wanting an unbias opinion, was being 'daft' by asking people on here.

why don't you people just let those who want to buy 6600 and 7700 just buy those things. aren't we glad there are more tacos and bricks toy grenades to bluejack. not to mention.... to make the image of SE much higher. the masses dont actually buy the elite items. we can't expect them to buy SE items. so there.... don't argue with the nokia fans. let them buy all the nokias they can get.
