Ok, I have a few places to try looking for EScummVM when I get in but does anyone have a direct link? And can anyone point me in the direction of games to play on it such as Monkey Island, Sam and Max etc?

unlike ESCUMMVM the actual games are still under copyright and people cannot put them up for download.
However you may be able to find zips containing all of the scumm games together on the donkey.

As mentioned earlier (i think), Jexed can be really addictive and is free... for the boring amongst us, ZCheckers can also while away the odd few minutes... If you want something which looks really impressive (for a phone, or even a GBA at that), then Vrally is the one, and it really doesn't play all that bad either, in spite of a lack of buttons...
I have had trouble with the emulators, partly because i ain't got monkey island and can't get a hold of it... not even legitimately!...but the master system one just didn't do a lot, and things didn't fit on the screen properly
Sman is also useful, and again free, which is always a plus point !
I always like to try before I buy, so just browse along to my-symbian or even Handango and see if there are shareware versions to try first... some programs just don't suit the phone at all... and unfortunately, games appear to suffer most... probably moreso for the ones that expect you to buy without a trial !;-)

Escumm is probably best game app on the P8/900, although Doom is great to show off with but a nightmare to actually play! ^_^
Worldmate i find invaluable, also Opera is pretty cool as well.
