When I try to do the update I get an "Unspecified Error" and a nice little red "X".
Any ideas?

R2B02 is the version for the organiser firmware, R3C is the version on the phone firmware

THIS IS THE NEW STUFF IN R2B02
From SonyEricsson:
Improved sound quality in Office handsfree mode.
Updated Java support MIDP2 - MIDlet signed against Verisign certificate.
Improved capitalization in T9, now capitalizing characters properly.
Enhanced handling of accessories, Bluetooth headset, HBH-200, displays name and phone number of incoming caller.
The Clock screen saver digits has been enlarged for better visualization.
Find function in e-mail application has been improved.

All I'm getting now is a "fatal error" from the update service application... what's up with that...?

I assume that doing this update will wipe my phone of all apps installed since I got the phone and all the contacts (not on the sim) and SMS/MMS messages etc will be deleted. Is this the case?
And if it is, can I do a backup, then update and restore to get the phone the way it was before (or will the new firmware cause problems with the restore)?
Its just that it runs fine at the moment, and I dont want to risk messing it up for a few little extra features.

Ok... rebooted my machine... Now the "fatal error" is gone... but... now I still get the message that either my phone is not switched off or not fully charged... but it is both...
What am I doing wrong here? Anyone?
