I do think the flip looks cool but it makes the P900 a bit 'thick' and I found I was always opening the flip to actually use the phone. However, I am having a problem with the flip removed, I assumed it would be exactly the same as with the flip open,but it isn't - back on the jog dial doesn't seem to do much. With the flip attached in flip open mode, pushing back on the jog dial would cancel options, go back a stage etc., however with the flip removed pressing back on the jog dial rarely seems to do anything, I have to press the touch screen, or the small curving arrow on the touch screen to go back a screen, it's really bugging me. I initially thought I was just imagining this, so I removed the keypad again, but had the same problem. I'm currently running with the flip off, but if the jog dial isn't going to to work as well and I have to rely on the touchscreen more I'm going to put the flip back on. Anyone having similar problems with the flip removed? (If anyone is actually running with the flip off on their P900!)

yes i'm using (dont say running makes you sound f*ucked up) a p900 flip off and have no problems.

Im using the phone without the flip... i have done so since i have brought it... i hav actually thought about using it with the flip for a little while and see how that goes but not done it yet............

May try it and see........

Started using it without the flip, but the phone functionality is really good with the flip on (calling people is a lot easier). I reckon i'll put it back on eventually.

Flip on - it looks better than the P800, those lovely blue LED's and is easier to use phone when out and about. HWR is hard when walking through town lol
