I find the jotter a great way to keep phone numbers that you don't want to keep in the contacts list. For example you may have phone numbers for employment agencies, utility companies, cabs, cinema and takeaway outlets and you don't want them mixed up alongside your friends and family in the contact list so keep them in a note using the jotter.

If you are going to a new place and you want a map of the surrounding area, maybe the train station is half a mile through a maze of side roads to get there then i go to streetmap, type in the postcode and copy and paste the image into paintshop pro then save it on the phone. You can zoom in on the map to see what route to take rather than memorising it.

Hi there,

With handheld, during conversation you can press C button (~2sec) to mute the microphone, but to turn it off, you have to use the application button

With handfree, you can turn on the mute fx by pressing C button (~2sec) and turn it off by pressing the on/off button on the headset.

If you want to know the battery level with the flip closed. Menu button -> 5

Status with percent of battery left, and when the next alarm is gonna go off.

Is there any other way of locking the screen in flip removed mode other than via the battery icon?
Ideally one that can be done one handed like in flip closed with jogdial towards then press.

PS not including any 3rd party apps like Tracker

The auto keylock can be set in flip on & flip off & it locks after I think 1 minute of not pressing anything. If u press a button before it locks the 1min will start over again.
To turn the lock on manually;
Flip removed- press battery icon then press lock screen.
Flip closed- press option button then press 1
OR
jogdial towards you then press it in.

Note that NO keylocks work when the phone is on charge.

Still no-one have any other ways to lock the screen in flip removed?

While surfing on opera or internal browser push Internet button on right side of phone for full screen. Push again for normal mode. This message was posted from a P900

Sometimes when you move the navigator slider to go to a different position on the P900 video player the clip doesn’t go to it all you need to do is move it and give it a double tap
