I'm 30 and have a Peugeot 309 Gti, group 13 insurance, has a full Magnex exhaust system that just has to be heard to believe(has everyone looking when you give it a boot full ) and a K+N air filter, it's running at 150 bhp on the rolling road, 0-60 in 6.5 secs, 135 mph max and cost's me £200 third party fire and theft. Not bad considering the performance.

If you think the UK is a rip off you should see what its like here in Ireland. We get screwed with the prices of cars and insurance.
The government place a Vehicle Registration Tax on every car that is bought. You then have to pay ordinary tax on it then, so you end up paying tax on tax .... and then insurance, totally ridiculous.
I don't own a car for the simple fact that I refuse to pay so much for insurance. It would cost me approx. 3,500 Euro to insure a 1 litre Nissan Micra or a small Fiat Punto ... F*** that ... (sorry, but it just angers me so much how we are ripped off)
