I'm not questioning why it was lost, but why it was there in the first place!
I guess Naomie Watts can have that effect on people though, I just don't know about that perticular film.

Perhaps another thing to consider here is the very rapid spread of the deadly diseases like aids, ebola, sars, chicken flu and cancer. Or even worst, when all the oceans and lakes in the world got drained, due to the sudden change of temp. - global warming. One for me to consider also is when the McDonald's chains of restos goes 'bankrupt' and closes globally . . .

@buckle247- maybe you're right there too. Melting of ice in the North and South Poles even Antarctica will result to the drowning of the whole human race and if it happened, will this call for a Noah's Ark II ? I've seen a huge ship being built in Europe (Queen Elizabeth???), far vast and more cavernous than that of the Titanic, also, more hi-tech. I'm sure that most of the animals (must come in pairs) will fit the said ship, a pair of all the kinds of whales in the sea will fit as well . . . Maybe, (if still existing), a pair of T-rex will be welcomed too. . .
