this website has the detail instruction on how to install Chinese Input and Font to your PXXX series device

http://renegade.w3xs.com/

Under tips and tricks section.

locate Installing Chinese Input into your P800 (same trick to P900 and P910)

it worked for me.

Hi

I download from the same site. It said:

Install the contents of both font and input files into the system folder of drive D: and remember to maintain the directory structure found in the ZIP file.

Where is system folder of drive D:? what does it mean directory structure? how exactly copy to the phone?

Pls advice

"D" drive is your memory stick

when you browse your memory stick (i use Explorer to access the memory stick in my card ready. I haven't tried browsing your phone -> memory stick directly from Windows Explorer on your pc, but it should be the same concept), located the "system" folder under "P-Series\xxxxxxx". Copy everything (the 2 components) you have downloaded to the "system" folder.

Once you have done that, restart your phone and the new setting should be in effect.

I use Window Explorer to browse Memory Stick under my P910i, but I can't find "system" folder. It only have audio, document, image, other, and video.

Also, I extract p800-simp.zip, it becomes 3 folders. Should I transfer all 3 folders to the phone, or open up each folder and transfer each file one by one?

Hi,

I just bought P910i in chinese language. I got the language set by my mobile vendor but wasn't able to get input text in english. whatever i write is transferred into chinese, and there is no option to select any language other than chinese. Can any one send me a service pack or let me know the website from where i can get input text as english.

thanks in advance.
