yes you did the right thing... but if there is a message in that email that you can't replay to it, it simply means you can't send email to MMS... you can always check the senders address, sometimes it just says "no-reply@serviceprovider.net", then it's no use trying to reply, but if your phonenumber is included in the emailaddress (like +467012345645@mms.serviceprovider.net) then you can always try replying to the mail, if it doesn't work you will just get an automatic mail from the server that you can't send email to that address
