thank you for the info, steele. i have an msn & icq accoumt but they wouldnt work on smart. i'll try it on globe. i'm afraid i have to consider upgrading... sakit nga lang sa bulsa. well, thank you for being so tyaga in answering me

I'm a smart (prepaid) subscriber and I just bought my very 1st P800 yday(from being a nokia fan) and was kinda looking forward to having problems with agile messenger bcoz of this thread. But when i installed it today...It worked smoothly
Cguro sa GPRS settings lng na ginawa ko sa SE site: for smart,globe & sun
1 - (OPTIONAL) master reset para fresh lahat. i decided to reset everything coz i kinda placed a wrong GPRS setting and i dnt know how to un-set it (i synchronized w my PC first to save all my files from the fone). dpende sa inyo.
After that
2 - I went to SE site

3 - click on software and support
4 - enter the fone model of the fone u r using (as for SE ha)
5 - Then click on WAP configurator
6 - follow the steps given from there
Sa Nokia, im not sure pero try this (for Smart subscriber only, tinanong ko sa smart customer service asst. to nung naka nokia pa ako)
from write message type SET GPRS N7650 (or N3660,N3650, etc)
after that you would recv a message, just save it
After saving that setting, sa write message ulit type GPRS ON
and that shld do it.
for MMS, same procedure, just replace GPRS wit MMS
pwede rin gawin sa SE fones to pero mas sure yng sa site
for se fones, same procedure, just change the fone model SEP800 or SEP900, SET610, etc.

my agile and scribble doesnt work anymore. It only worked the first time i installed the programs. I even brought my fone to smart center to fix my gprs, wap, mms settings kahit alam kong wala naman akong ginalaw dun. I waited for an hour pero wla clang nagawa. It's not true daw that they blocked these services coz kahit pano kumikita din cla dun, maybe something's wrong lng daw with the connection, duh.

i recently swapped my smart sim with a SUN sim, can u tell me your sun gprs settings? like the ip address and access point? please....
the MALL does not offer OTA settings for my phone... my good old batterred nokia 6510 so i have to do it manually...
please help me...
