T68 was the first to display JPEG and GIF images in colour. And Bluetooth. MMS was a first as well (if you count firmware upgrades).

The first one was Siemens S25. I owned it when it came out. But I don't remember what year it was thought.

When people talk colour screens they generally mean 256 colours or more, on phones that can display the common image formats jpg and gif. These phones would be called pictures phones, in which case the question should be "First Picture Phone?", and the answer is T68
