i am using t68 gold, the keypad light is dimmer, than my friend's grey t68, is it normal? will someone help me?

No it should be the same, it depends on the HW of the phone.
I had one or two "mīs" that had bad keypad lumi, but on my last it was oki.
But now when using T68i I can use it as a "torch"

Sorry to tell you, but yes, there are tons of people in LA that has the T68m/T68i. I even ran into people that have brought their T68s from HongKong directly. Funny things in LA is that you get majority of people that wants only "FREE" phones, but you can certainly find another group of people, usually the younger generation, that only wants the "Coolest" and "newest" phones. Besides, T68i is going for about $280 in LA with a new contract from Cingular, so yes, they are selling very fast.

Within an hour after I left the store with my brand new T68i, I saw a girl in a cafe playing with her T68i and showing it off to her friends. There are also lots of people that are using T39m as well. It works quite well considering Cingular's crappy service here.

I like i over m. I used the m for a while, but it was too buggy. It won't even recognize the keyborad. I am sure that it was an isolated case though. *_*
