Any chance we will be seing more games from you in the future ?
You seem to have a good idea of what makes a good mobilephonegame - and I would certainly look out for more games from you.

Maybe, if I think of something I

having tried it on the T630 I never thought of trying it on the P900. works fine but I don't like having to control it with the jogdial but I guess thats the price to pay for a multi platform game.

I think I may be able to add touch-screen control without breaking compatibility with other phones. I've also done exit16 on the pocketPC and Palm and there it's the only way to play it and it plays very quick with touchscreen and stylus.

If you're hoping for constructive criticism, I did find that the levels don't really cascade in difficulty terms. Also, level numbers would be nice. Also (again) it would be even more challenging if there were a minimum number of moves displayed to complete each level... how more frustrating would that be ??!

The difficulty not going 'up' is a problem I'm aware of. Every version I do of the game I rearrange the levels, but somehow I never seem to get it right. It's very difficult to estimate how hard a certain level is once you know how to play it. I've seen people get stuck on level 4, yet do the mouse pointer shaped one with ease... (I found the mouse pointer horrible, and level 4 rather easy)
Level numbers is a nice feature I'm certainly planning to add. I don't like the idea about having to complete a level in a certain number of moves, it may make the game a bit too frustrating (knowing the solution to a level, just not doing it efficiently enough)

It's the bottom item this time that's causing the problem.

I believe that's also fixed in 0.91

Don't let us go to the next level, until we've completed the level that we are on. Also, once that is done, at the main menu, make it so that we can choose to go to any of the levels that we've completed.

A level selector at the main menu is a feature I'm planning to add to the 1.0 version, as is storing which levels are completed. I think I will keep the possibility for a user to choose any level he wants, so a level can be skipped if he gets stuck.

One thing i've noticed, and i know i'm gonna get laughed at if i'm wrong, but i believe one of the levels is impossible. I think Its the first one that goes diagonally from bottom left to top right.

I believe all of them are possible to complete, but you are right that some levels seem impossible. Sometimes it's allowed to have 1 or 2 tiles remaining and the level still shows up as complete. I plan to check and fix these levels for a 1.0 release. In the diagonal level (level 14) the player is even allowed to have 2 tiles remaing.

Why is this so? The game exit16 is quite old. I originally made it in basic on my amiga computer, but over the time, everytime I got myself a new gadget I couldn't resist porting it to it. Every version is a bit better than the last: better levels, better level order, etc, but some old bugs remain (mainly in the levels, as they are a lot of work to fix, and design). The phone version is the first version I released to the public, and so far the feedback from all of you is proving very helpful. All the positive feedback is a very good reason for me to continue work on it and make it as good as possible

At the moment the pocketpc version is not ready for download. It's not nearly as much finished as the java version I did for the phones.

version 0.91

Upon completion of this level the game shuts itself down AND resets itself to level 1 I finished in the right bottom corner.. if that helps

Repeated and now it shut itself down 2 blocks from finishing the level when in the left top corner and game is reset t level one

You're too fast. I haven't built the end yet, so it just wraps back to level one once it's complete . Sorry if it annoyed you...

Currently I'm working on the levels. I've dropped some I don't like and again changed the order in which one plays them. This means I won't be updating it for the next week or so, since nothing changes in the code.

(edit: I see it crashes with an application error upon completion... that's a bad thing and something I will have to fix.)

They did excatly the same with one of my games at that site, they reversed engineered it and translated it into spanish. I found all my source code splattered on the forums, fortunately though I had obfruscated it first so it was harder to understand and hack.

I don't care so much about the source code (heck, people can have it if they ask nicely), but I'm not so happy about them not asking permission to distribute it...

I'm still working on the 1.0 version by the way. Normal work and other things cost a lot of time, so it's not proceeding as quickly as I'd like it to . Haven't forgotten about it!
