if you previously used Ezitap you'll need to uninstall and re-install it. Unistall should allow access the standard keyboard.

I´m new here and I do also have the problem with this 'error communicating with device'... I looked everywhere to solve the problem. Nothing worked. I've got a p900 formally branded as t-mobile. Now I have the original SE firmware. I tried almost everything... please!!! If anyone has got a solution... @cheekyboy: I've got a legitimate version of windows xp. But it still won't work...

to upgrade your phone you will need to run the recovery option to go back to your original branded firmware.

...i remember that its stated that if u use 56kbps modem dial-in it will take around 85mins...
(i'm juz writing base on memory...to be sure perhaps u can go to the
update website, its stated there the estimated duration for the update. )

Oh Cr*p is this true cuz I unbranded my phone and the update
longer works.
