I tried to upgrade at cpw today (20/5/02) but they said they only had the mms only software the t68i software will be out in about four weeks
i thought the shop might be giving me a bit of bullshit so i phoned the cpw head office they said the same thing " 4 weeks for full update"

They told me that they HAD the software downloaded, but SE hasnt said the big GO yet, so they cant release it to the general public.


I think they are all A*SES. Dont like their manner at all.

This has pissed me right off!!! Enough to post a reply.

This is the reason that SE is a major market player second to Nokia. Because their customer service team is shit to say the least.

1, they posted on their website Week21 for t68m upgrade. As I understand it we are in Week21 but yet they have having issues with releasing a software update.

Come on SE this is basic stuff that you should got right in your development stage.

2, the idea of releasing a t68i is nothing more than a way to rape their customers of hard eared cash. (Sorry to all the owners of t68i, it’s just my view).

3, my promise to SE, I love my phone very much and I have even giving it a name (Nell) I paid a lot of money for it.

But If I don’t have my upgrade by week ending 24th I shall bin it and never buy another SE product again.

Thank you a very pissed off user.

even though i own a t68i, i definitely understand you all of t68/t68m owners.

that's an unkindly and unacceptable manner from SE.

They should always remind that "customer is in control!"

Customer Service really sucks!!
They cant treat us this way. Oki I returned my T68m and bought a T68i but still I dont like them - now I just got a phone that works as it should with all the features I paid for (twice)

Nope i won't go to nokia. I will go back to Siemens, at least with siemens, you can download and do the upgrade yourself. As i did with my sl45, upgraded that to sl45i.

i was told by CPW that they do have the upgrade that was mentioned in their catalogue. My phone has been away with them for the past 2 weeks and it should be coming back 2day with new S/W! hopefully! will keep all updated!

yes we are in week21, and week21 lasts until saturday... they dont have to release it right at the begining do they. And we have heard it is out in some places. Maybe companies are having trouble downloading the software off the server. dont blame
