yes i agree that sharp is becoming a great manafacture in the mobile world, gx20 and gx30 are just awesome, but i still have to say that sharp isn't very "world-wide" like sony ericsson and nokia, sure you can get a sim free sharp from the net but i have never bought a phone without a contract, it just isn't worth it to pay five times or more for the same phone, well i don't know how operator contracts work in other countries but you don't feel a difference here....
anyway my point is that sharp is a very good firm and some comments here are quite idiotic.....
but there are two things killing sharp
1. it's not an easy phone to get if you aren't on voda....
2. they just don't have enough phones, look at nokia or others then look at sharp....
btw: i'm not talking about japan, that's a totaly different area....

Ok without the range you loose the indivuality of owning a different handset from other people, but when the handsets you bring out can't be touched, why saturate the market with cut down Nokia esc products, i.e same phone, various forms.

Also yes, the GX32 is expensive at the moment but that is because its just come out. Wait a few weeks and it will be alot more affordable, this happens with any new model of phone.

i like sharp phones too.... good cg silicon, and camera but why not they do their product marketing also... dont just stick to voda or maxis.. open shops in cities for phone selling and customer service
