Yes i noticed that about the joypad, it likes to do its own thing, and it feels loose, when it should feel tight and solid.

That MMC comment is pretty funny, i mean, who really needs to swap out 512mb of flash so often that turning the phone off becomes hassle? I have 7 CDs on there and im still not tired. I prefer the hidden MMC to a flimsy flap like on most phones with quick removable cards.
The 5 way pad was a bit odd at first but mine never feels loose, and it was a nice change up from the T630 since the pad is actually faster in games, like splinter cell
But the pad is preference, i quickly got used to it and never make an error now.

What are you talking about
The 6230 was a pioneer at its release, first series 40 model and first small phone to have video recording, playback, MP3 support and loudspeaker. Bluetooth, IR and expandable memory.
Of course, its hard for you to see since this 6month old thread has been resurrected at a time when other phones are finally catching up

Thats a vey good point actually, it was advanced for its size at the time. The only real gripe i have against it is the small screen size (im used to pxx with large screens) and the mmc placement...i know what your saying but its still silly imho.

6230 (just like K700) is still a pretty advanced non-smartphone.
i dont think there is any phone that has a mp3/radio/card slot with that size and weight.
personally, i think the 6230 card slot would have an added advantage over one without like the K700.

Couple of questions, when did your brother buy the phone?
Is he aware that it was the first small phone with MP3 playback and video recording?
Sounds like he missed the boat 6 months ago and now he doesnt understand since he joined too late

it looks the same as all the rest of the nokias (except those modert art f**kups they brought out) I really quite like nokia as a manufacturer but god damn, design something a bit different.
lol i just noticed the date of the original thread, lol who dug this up!!
no wonder the phone looks dated
