$1100 for a sim card? Is that US dollars?
Man, that's expensive!
Here in Portugal they give PAYG sim-cards for free with some 15 euros on it...
Networks are GSM, right? How 'bout 3G not in the near future?

yes my friend...our only telecom company is public...so, i wouldn't count on it!! i donno when they are gonna let private companies start working. in malaysia, you could get the best services...in a country with 22 million people, there was i think 6 companies...all quite successful, so much that boss of one of them is 20th richest guy in the world. i think it's a big deal!

Goodness gracious ! That much money would buy me two P800s! But here in india you can get a connection for less than a dollar! With gprs connectivity the monthly expense would be around 10 to 12 dollars. But now even that is free here. Both gprs and mms are free till september. Mms is always free !

those planes are expired!! only if US could let us buy some!! our only choice is old russian planes! pfff....
sOnicen, have no worried about coverage...the only place i am having trouble is around Mirdamad, and Vanak...inside buildings with heavy concrete....other than that is fine...

the lowest price i have in Jomhoori, is about 60k...about$80...
i am still waiting for mine, which costed me about $60..(special occasion!)
