Here's a rough preview of what I have so far:

I still need to move things around and add more graphics.
And (this may be too ambitious!..) I want to use a Flash-exported GIF to animate the standby image - the controls, middle graphic, the small planet image in the right corner, etc.
And unfortunately I'm going to be very busy until next week so I hope you are all patient!

i know this is REALLY ambitious but could you make the interface elements (like buttons) blink...just to give the interface a little more life....nice so far though

really impressive! it would be great though if you can match it with a ringtone of a typical beep followed by the Star Trek computer voice of Majel Barret saying "Incoming voice transmission received!" -- Cool!

How about putting a picture of 7 of 9 when she still had some more of those borg implants.

First of all thanks for doing us all a big favour.
Second of all, I know that time is an issue for you, but maybe :blush: you might want to consider make a version two of the theme in which instead of people, different types of spacecrafts from StarTrek (the 3 enterprises for example) appear ... or the Enterprise jumping to warp

Based on the different requests, I decided to make one template for the theme and then for each version some of the middle images will change (the character photo, logo, ship graphic, etc.) - so everybody should be happy right?

Here is a theme to test on your K700s (remember, I don't have a K700 to test with! although I might have to get one now..)

The animation speed can be changed - here are two samples using the speed 7/100s and 1/100s (the fastest I can export).

This one is the fast 1/100 animation - the browser plays it slower for some reason. How fast does it look on the phone?
