Good, er, night! It's just past midnight in the UK, and it's been sunny and very warm - sticky in fact!

Did you have a good weekend, Gelfen?

Fairly quiet - did a bit of work Saturday afternoon for some extra cash, watched England lose their opening match in Euro 2004, and I'm still waiting for my P800 to come back after it's firmware update!!

Yes, being a student psychiatric nurse doesn't exactly earn much!! Having a second part time job makes me sound like I'm 16 - it's perhaps slightly worrying that I'm 26!!

I should have my P8 back on Wednesday. Hopefully!

actually the church will be across the other side of the city. we have visited with the vicar twice. nowadays they do "pre-wedding counselling" to help newlyweds deal with unresolved or unforseen issues in an attempt to lower the divorce rate. for us this consisted of us doing a 128 multi-choice question test, all of which presented statements to which you would either "strongly disagree, disagree, undecided, agree, strongly agree". our next meeting in a couple of weeks will be to discuss how well we align or otherwise on the issues raised. the questions relate to spousal roles in the home, discipline, money issues, faith/religion/spirituality, children and other domestic matters.

around 10% of couples don't go ahead as a result of the counselling. however, i don't see it being a problem for us as we had pretty much discussed everything that came up on the test, and what we hadn't we already knew was something we would have to deal with. after 6.5 years i would hope so anyway.
