The jealousy things seems like a strange reaction, I've never encountered it before, at least not in a hostile manner i.e. "posh git"
I work for one of the biggest oil operators in the world and almost every desk in my office has a pda in a cradle. I occasionally get people asking about my p900 because they think it is just a super-small pda but it's always a positive response and not the kind of crap some of you guys seem to have been getting...
anyway, i couldnt give a shit what people think of me because of my phone. if somebody wants to judge me because i use a smartphone for my work then they're not someone I want to know...

Anything that looks 'strange' to people with solicit different responses. In Snow-Munki's case it was inferiority. My P900 normally gets the 'wow' response. While sitting on the Tram watching a Simpsons episode two young lads got up and sat next to me peering over my shoulder to see what I was watching. I made sure the strap was securely around my wrist just in case there intentions weren't purely honourable.
