and don't forget:
- Automatic SMS delivery reports on/off
- Stable email client which does not forget to get mail as set in the schedule option AND does not try to download messages when the phone is in flight mode.

IMHO, 4 things are missing:

- Memorize "Always get SMS receipts".
- An option to always hide number.
- A more inteligent Screen Saver with small icon for missed notifications and calls.
- The possibility to add a text to the password screen. With the current firmware it's IMPOSSIBLE to write a text with your contact or anything you like in case the phone is lost then found.

How about some sync software that works flawlessly from the outset for both Mac PC and Linux.

the reason i haven't switched to another smartphone is the flip and the scroll wheel. they make using the phone really, really great.

so the p1000 (as we like to call it) should have those as well.

then i'd like to have:

- faster processor. the p900 isn't slow, but it's slower than a lot of other pda/phone combos.

- bigger camera lens. i don't really need 2MP if the lens stays the same. i want GOOD pictures for my laptop, not big pictures to print that look like you took it through the bottom of a coke bottle

- more memory/bigger memory stick capacities. that way i could use it to back up data from the various computers i work on.

- improved flip-closed operation. things like "add this caller to contacts"

- better case design. the p900 looks good, but it could be a little slimmer and prettier. sort of like the XDAIImini ... great contours, reduced to the minimum, and generally a "cool" design.
what ever happened to that px00 prototype we saw that mixed chrome and black plastic?

- BETTER iSYNC SUPPORT !!! i want to be able to sync with my mac more than once a week, whenever iSync and p900 "feel like it".

EDIT: i just read sage's wishlist, and THAT's what i want too !

Dunno if this has already been mentioned, but dual-sim support would be very useful, especially if they were both "live". This would enable such things as recieving calls on both sims, but all outgoing automatically on a specific one (the business one obviously!). In addition, this be cobined with an advance call management system, eg, all calls to one number have different ring tone, or are auto SMS'd to etc...

BTW, if there are any SE developers peeking in on this forum, it would be appreciated if they would take some of these ideas to their drawing boards, so that we aren't all just peeing in the wind here!

How about decent Mac Sync? How about Category sync in Calendar. No smartphone that I'm aware of does this (it's friggin annoying)!!

Why bother having the ability to have calendar categories if it won't sync with iCal or Outlook?
