well im going to be honest: the only software to date that i have found that is actually worth the amount you pay for it is salling clicker. and about keygens etc.: if you can get something for free, then why the hell would you pay for it?

In this thread I stated that I would buy my software because i think it is the right thing to do. Now I am having some bad experience in getting support so I am having second thoughts. I don't think that will buy software anymore because when you get only the software and no support, it sure is a rip-off.
Not getting support on cracked software is a reason to buy. Not getting support on software you bought is a reason to use the cracked versions.

That's a point edvk, but don't you think that giving no support
to customers is quite the minority?
I had no problems with any support till today...

A problem is that you can't find demos for all programs.

Walking into a store and helping yourself to what you want is called "stealing", Using cracked software is no different. So all you need to do is ask yourself we deciding wether to buy or steal some ones work on a program is "do I want to be a criminal"? very simple choice isnt it!

The question comes to "are you stealing it from the store?" or "somebody else is giving it to you for free?"

I bought most of my software. I looked for freeware, not cracked and bought those I came across and liked.
The problem is I have came across sites with lots of cracked software. The thing is, I have bought tracker and a couple of skins, I don't use it, I use a cracked HandyDay 2005.
I have also seen a lot of software that I have just bought, which have been cracked.
Why buy something that you can get for free. It doesnt feel right to me to buy something and the next day it is available for free. You feel like, why buy when you can get it free.
It doesnt matter how much you have, or respect the small programmers. You forget about your conscience and the fact that you are destroying some committed programmer.
Well I love to buy, but I would also like to be free to buy and not have a free alternative.
There should be a way to close the sites that offer cracked software.
I buy and I also use cracked software.

and guys have you ever downloaded a song??
what the difference with downloading programs???
you are "stealing'' it from the singer, right?
from the moment that are out there and the "big ones" as microsoft do not stop them , why should we stop? if i can find something for free i will get it...
I dont know much about computers and with my little knowledge i can find a crack for a program. So dont tell me that its not a piece of cake for the big ones to stop such a thing?
Its like having a store in you city giving for free cd's and other various stuff, but police does not go to close it down. So wouldn't you go there to get free cd's and other stuff???
