ok, my turn. I'd like to think I am a phonoholic too but after playing with the S700 for half an hour in CPW while buying a P910 there is no amount of money that would make it want to buy it.

I hated the housing as it seemed very cheap and nasty compared to most phones and apart from the display, which I admit was fantastic, the phone did very little for me.

So, I am moving the money I allocated to the S700 over to the Motorola V3 which I will probably buy for style rather than features since its fairly well matched with the K700 in that department anyway (but thats another topic so I don't mean to start a discussion of K700 vs V3 here )

end result, no S700 for me even though I do have the money

well I would and I have.

pretty happy - sold my p900 for £200 and picked up a s700 for £170.

fair enough I miss the touch screen and a few of the extra features but the s700 is much more of a "normal" phone size and is a very well made piece of kit that is just frankly nice to pick up and click into place.

when I need a pure phone I use my trusty old CMD-Z5 - still a classic.

for the undecided pick up a p900 before the s700 as there is no better toy out there when you first open the box - classic pixel perfect lemmings on you phone cant be beaten.

should have probably kept the p900 too....

The S700 lives up to the T610 promise.

For just £180 I now have a cracking camera wherever I am, and a fast wap browser that has a great screen.

Well worth it for me, and to me, that's all that counts.

@masseur - So that's just the very reason why I haven't seen you changed your avatar to an SE S700 up till now mate

@apotts - Hmmm . . . flyin' high here ! Just what kind of plane are you in? Kinda low for a commercial one . . . . I guess, unless you are about to land or just about to hit high altitude dude? Was it a 'cessna" ?

@JN, have a look at the "Pics taken with an S700" thread... It's a 737.
