luwi and to everybody else who is just as confused,
there is no need to manually change profiles because the MMS option allows you to set the required profile, e.g. Globe MMS. When browsing via WAP, you simply set your default profile to Ericsson. Please note that the "Connect using" option of the Globe MMS profile and Ericsson profile are both Globe GPRS data account. The settings will not cause problems with your MMS configuration and vice-versa.

For clarification (Globe users only):
1.Under Connect > data comm > data accounts... at least 2 accounts could be found 1. GlobeGPRS 2. GlobeMMS
Select GlobeGPRS
2. Under Messages > MMS > Options > WAP profile > Select... All your Wap profile will appear (Globe GPRS, Ericsson Gateway, Tactel, GlobeMMS) choose GlobeMMS if you've had it activated already
3. Under WAP Services > Select profile ... It is recommended that you choose the Ericsson Gateway for bigger downloads (if you have it). You can also choose GlobeGPRS but download size is limited

Is there a text string we can send to Globe to auto-configure our phones (in my case, my T68i) for MMS just like the auto-configure for GPRS?
I got this from another site...
******************************************
auto-configure your GPRS phone to Globe settings by sending GO <handset model> to 2951. You will then automatically receive the correct settings via sms.
Supported handset models are n8310, n6510, n6310, n8910, t39, t65, t68, r520, r600, eclipse and mystral.
*******************************************

@dlreyes, in #1 there is no need to select a data account. if the two accounts are there, that's it. there is no notion of "current data account" because the wap profile takes care of selecting the required data account (or manually if you set the profile to always ask).

@arnoldc - i've already change the connect using of globe mms to globe gprs acct, i still got the network error mssg. I still need to change the profile under wap services to globemms to be able to send and i guess to download the received mms. I dont think this should go like this-MANUAL CHANGING OF PROFILES?:-(

I'm getting the network parameter errors as well, after calling up globe they told me that my request for activation is still 'in queue' hay.. antay uli... you guys can check since this is indicated in their helpdesk software whether you are still in queue or actually activated already.
swerte nung mga nakakasend na.. kakainggit.. =)
