The screen problem isn't Z1010 only. Seems like all SE phones get a cheaper screen when they're in production for a wile.

yea i think i can comfirm that for my T610
my first one had a great screen. much better then the ones i saw later and the one i have now.
with the first one i didn't have problems in the sunlight, now its hard to read it sometimes. actually not right now, cause its dark and raining here.

so it could be that SE is making the first line very nice and good, but the lines after just cheaper. really makes you think doesn't it

So the 2g-3g has a bug if you don't have the R1H firmware? What is the bug like? I have R1G roght now. The handover between 2g and 3g during calls is working just fine. But when i have 1-2 (of 5)in 3g people can't call me. Is it a thing about the phone or my operator? If the phone, can it be fixed with firmware?

yes, thats the bug I meant. With R1C it takes 1 minute to change from 3G to 2G. In this minute nobody can call you. This 3G/2G bugs are fixed with R1G. The latest Z1010 firmware is R1J or R1K, but not for EU1.

Greetings, Alex

Ok, but that bug shound't be in my R1G then?

I know that you canät force the phone to just use 2G (GSM). But you can do it for a little while. BUT, when i do, and compare with my girlfirends T230 (GSM) she has much more coverage than i have. Why is that? Is the phone bad or is it maybe because it IMMEDIATELY searches for 3G?

My Z1010 has a great coverage in GSM, even in places where the GSM signal is weak. Better than the other phones I tested (Samsung S100, Nokia 6600, SE V800).

Ok that is strange. But it must depend on the places, this is almost only in my flat. But the thing is that when i got 0-1 in 3G coverage, it doesnät swotch to GSM immediately, so when i'm in a shop with 0-1 3G coverage, no one can call me.

What firmware do you have?

Please look on the damages, which resulted from the repair at a SE Service-Partner:

The exchanged Cover was unfortunately deform/damaged:

The red Z1010 unfortunately has visible light edges of the edge of display
since the display exchange:

Again the camera framing was fastened only provisionally with
2-sided tape:

Here you can see the CIF camera being fitted to far down (fig. 2) contrary
to the almost correct position of my Z1010 (fig. 1):
