imo, it doesnt matter whether it is negative or positive comments. Sometimes the situations/scenarios do justify these type of comments. it is very difficult (and much less exciting) to hv a debate if all comments are neutral.

the main guideline is not to push these comments to the extreme which in most cases are not defensible/realistic. e.g. using words like "worst", "best", "sucks" or using one liner to represent the truth. When extreme comments r used, u will deprive the opponents of any response and it is a sure way to kill a discussion.

for me, i'm not too concern about going in circle. sometimes when u revisit old arguments, new ones will pop up. there is always a limit to the issues which we can discuss (within phone context) and it is quite inevitable sometimes we wil go in a circle. As long as we know when to stop.

i most certainly agree.

i wish no harm, and all this perfect phone bollocks is crap. People should start being more positive. Although yes, i admit, i did complain about s700i pricing but i have been a member of this board over a year, and i have, i dont think more than a few times complained. I think that this perfect phone malarky business is rubbish, but if someone has a good reason to make a point, not just be constantly negative, then i think they have a right to hear it.

So topic starter, your point is perfectly valid and i accept that complaining should not be the soul of esato, but if people have a point regarding the quality/pricing of phones, and have a good reason i.e. k700i camera quality lacking, but show a positive side to the phone then they dont deserve to be flamed or abused.

Do you see what i mean?

@Vanquish,

I never said that people could not express a negative opinion. I was just saying that for once could we post something positive.

@mib1800

I agree with you, but I also feel that sometimes debates here tend to devolve into pettiness.
