yes im in quite the dilemma... i love the design and i love SE (works well with mah mac as well) i will wait till my birthday i think (jan 16th) and decide then... patience... the wait for firmware idea sounds good but is there any assurance of it acctually coming out. i dunno i never will!! but i know im getting SE so...

yea u can wait for a newer model... but the price will be CRAZY and V800 will be LOW... as for me, V800 has everything i need.. 1.3MP camera is enough, im not a photographer nor i want to have a large picture thats is too detailed. so V800 just seems right with my soon to be 1GB MS. Firmware wise, it is yet to be known if ever theres an unbranded version, if there is than its great!! Anyways expansion we're January babies, mine is on the 2nd, thus my nick name is born 02.

i see well i jsut got an email from an ebayer selling unlock v800s and he had this to say:
"the menu is for Sony Ericsson V800,better that k700 or s700"
after i asked if they had VF menus! so that puts a spanner in the works. I'm with 02 - im a designy person and i love the aesthetics of the v800 and 1.3mp camera is fine - just use 640 x 480.. its really what i wont... i dont see what they will bring so i dunno maybe i wait till new phones come out and then decide - v800's will be cheaper and my voucher will be worth jsut as much - ill just buy and sell a phone will the voucher and go from there!

for sure there is no SE firmware, for sure there is unbranded V800 covers with vodafone firmware N for sure you will get the phone if you buy it from him, coz he is so desperate enough to sell it and lied about having a SE firmware.
So wat r you waiting for? get it!! Its at a low price!! And wat else can make you like another phone than V800? It has everything you need, other than waiting for a new and improve firmware. (hopefully SE's)
