WOW!! i cant believe you actually thought of exchangin the k500 for that thing (i cant even call it a phone coz of its horrendous shape), you might as well forget one hand txtin, it lacks midpv.2, camera is vga but takes video only in the lower res and wat bout the 3d games man?? And the most imp thing is the screen, tho 128*160 res it is nowhere near the quality of the k500...in fact k500 has such a good screen it looks like higher res than 128*160+all the fun things like themes,animated wallpapers,music dj etc. Also quickshare which allows you to senp pics/videos as soon as you take them...no effort at all. Also i dont think blokia 7600's sound can ever be as good as k500's so that may be a concern as well.

The 7600 is not Series 60 as stated, it is not even Symbian. It is series 45, like series 40 but bigger screen. All series 40 games and apps will fit, but you cant install video editing software and stuff as you can on series 60. K500 can use 3D games but how many are there, two? There are hundreds of "free" games available for series 40.

It looks and feels really nice if you ask me, even a bit luxurious. Much better than the booring looks of k500 or k700. The keys on 7600 are a bit difficult to get used to though.

It does play MP3 and ACC music files and these can be used for ringtones and message tones, the memory will be sufficient for one cd. It also records and plays 3gpp videos, the memory will hold like an hour of videos. Two episodes of The Simpsons without any problem. And hey, it has 3G so you can watch streamed videos and streamed music if you want to.

It comes with a data cable and stereo handsfree.

@boba, and killer. yup.

@thullan, i mentioned it later that i found it was a wierd series40. and with MIDPv1, you can forget 3d games. k500 has got MIDPv2. and screen was very hard to read even in dim condition, so you can forget bright sunlight. and i am textaholic, so i dont want to be stuck with two hands tied, i can text blindly in my k500i now. agreed you will miss the memory and bluetooth. but i did rather have a phone that gives me full potential than a phone that is crippled

Gov, you can think of buying that dumb 7600 and not the 6600? The likes of the 66 and the 3660 are great value for money phones. This message was posted from a T230
