Sorry pals, but I've testet the V800 a week long and I'm not convinced of it. The battery in UMTS mode has to be charged every two days. The UMTS signal is more unstably than the Z1010. I've compared it to my Z1010 and now I'm really happy with the first SE UMTS phone. If you have the choice, take the Z1010 - it really is the better mobile.

@4motion
a better mobile?? ur judging by 3G capabilities.. wat u said is juz baut the 3G signal.. but the rest V800 is far more better than Z1010.. or maybe ur really into wireless internet, which is better surfin usin a proper 3Glaptop. But why juz the 3G, where u can get more memory, 1.3MP, slimmer design, etc etc..

I am very pleased indeed with my V800. It has performed very well indeed in all areas, with the exception of the camera, which isn't quite as good at taking pictures as I would have hoped for.

Here in Austria 70% of all V800 were sent back because of bugs and errors. The standby-time really is poor and the the whole quality of the shell doesn't seem to be durable.
Sorry, but take a look at the most important worldwide mobile magazine "Connect". In their test (and they are the only one with certified laboratory) they say "In view of the worse finishing, the unbelievably weak standby-time, the bad receipt-quality and the greyful Vodafone Branding the Z1010 remains the best UMTS mobile phone at present."
Greetings, Alex

@4motion Il give you that with the Z1010 you actually feel the durability of the phone and te finish is also to a very high standard. I am now looking at getting the Sharp 902 as a replacement for the V800 as I dont think its going to last long enough.
I have dropped my Z1010 many times and the damage caused to it was virtually none, but the V800 will even scratch on a carpet...
