> K700i Vs SGH-D500

I have had a K700i since Christmas, although I would have preferred the D500 but it was difficult to get hold of then. Bought my wife a D500 for her birthday a couple of weeks ago, and imho the K700i is a better business phone (syncs to Outlook, easier to use AS A PHONE) but the D500 has better multimedia (sound quality much better - my K700i doesn't even match the sound of my old Samsung A800 when playing poly ringtones) and a terrific camera.
So, if you want a phone that can double as a mini PDA, try the K700i, if you are after an MP3 player get the D500.
I expect someone will now shoot me down in flames!

Just wrtin down all the features the d500 seems the obvious choice but then its almost twice as expensive+it has big flaws like the inability to multitask, it file support is weaker, memory reserved for java(which is weaker and no 3d support),no radio AND a major issue imo is content...where will you find games and themes for it except maybe buy 1 or 2 off the samsung site??? However it has pros over k7 like much better 1.3mp camera and twice the memory and 262k screen...overall i would rate it slightly above the k7 but hey it costs almost twice as much which makes it a stinker

Thats about 28000 rupees. Double the price of the K700 as clank earlier said. I think this phone should be compared to the S700 rather than the K700 :-D

Having owning both phones as well as a T68i, T610, T630, P900 and S700. I would go for the D500 over the K700. You can get the D500 for free on most contracts as well now.
