First of all.. i bought mine 7650 yesterday. It's not a bad phone!
I have a lot of phones.. from StarTac 130, 8810, T28s, V51, T68, 8310, R600 and i have 7650 now..
And i must say that it's quite a big phone, but it have a big screen with excellent OS. Also the camera is great and the buttons on the keyboard are perfect although they're a bit small. You can programme it everything u want, from buttons to joystick. And the guy forgot some interesting things.. Like u can take a pic of your friend and attach it to his name and number and when he's gonna call ya his picture is shown. Than there are Polyphonic tones, which are really great and u can download 'em with Java. The vibra is very strong.
I had fun with this phone yesterday for about 5 hours nonstop, so i'm very comfortable with it. It's a great phone, maybe a bit too big, but it fits very good in your hands.
And let's talk about quality. The guys here are in T68 favour. The T68 have a very ugly looking and hard keyboard. Also the YES/NO buttons are very weird. U don't have real feeling when u press 'em. Sometimes they're press immediately, sometimes it takes a lot of time to press em, and the menus are sloooooowish..
It's WAS good phone 6 months ago with first coloured screen. But now it's far behind, with 7650 kicks his ass (except in size, but 7650 is very similar to Ipaq, Palm etc..). Than are here 7210 and 6610 with 99% of being better phone than T68. And T68i .. damn.. all that plastic, yuck.. T68 was good with rubber on back side, T68i is 100% plastic and that really sucks..
Also P800 is very cheap childish plastic looking. White and Blue coloured like phones for children.
And i must say that camera in 7650 is way better than T68's..
I don't know guys, what you're so into SE?? I was that opinion too, 5 months ago. I was totally against Nokia, but when u used to Nokia the phones simply rules.
That's my modest opinion. No offence i hope.

Consider your little nokia gadgets like the 7650 and other future nokia phones.
Now consider this:
T68, released Oct 2001
Tri-Band
GPRS
MMS, EMS supported
Bluetooth
Option of buying mp3 player and camera ONLY if YOU WANT TO PAY FOR IT.
These are just a few of many features of a phone that's almost a year old. I'd say it's still more future-proof than even then 7650. Even many future nokia phones will not have the above capabilities. And when the P800 is released...?
BTW, I find no problem with the keypad and think its way better than the keypad on the pathetic 8550.
And let's not forget the size...

@Infantino, why don't you just buy a cheap, small spare phone? The 7650 is too good to just trade in for a GD87 don't you think?
Remember no more Symbian! No more Java! Are you really ready to sacrifice all the things that makes the 7650 so good, just for smaller size!?

First things first, Its not actually my purchase. I purchased it for my cousin and he picked it up from me. I was just evaluating the phone and posted my opinions here. So I have no loss.

I personally dont like it. I will go for the P800 instead.
This is sickening, what professional background do you have to do some kind of a judgement. If you have opinions say it or quote it, because the way you speak seemed to me you have authority. Well authority my ass.

Guys,
Don't you think it's unfair to compare T68i and N7650? They are both different in every way. I used to own a T68i till i bought my N7650 then i lost my T68i (of course the new phone gets my active SIM). But after playing both, they are pros and cons.
T68i
----
1 year old technology.
Good:
- great BT services (dual serial port, DUN, headset and etc.)
- Small and Light
Bad
- pretty slow at times (browsing and SMS)
- only 1MB Memory
- 256k colours.
N7650
------
Rececent Technology
Good
- Built-in Camera with 4000k colour.
- Symbian 6 (smartphone) for application expandability.
- Java enabled.
- 4MB Memory, still not enough for me.
- Polyphonic ringtone
Bad
- Freezes when memory is low.
- Bulky (thank god its smaller than 9210).
- BT services sucks big time.
P800
-----
Will review when i get my hands on it.
So the conclusion is, technology gets better everyday. I don't think SE will be able to fit features packed P800 into a T68i size. If it does, then we will discuss later. But at the mean time, every phone has its good and bad.
Look bad in time, when we had Motorola 8700 with multiple ring type and vibra-call comparing to N101 or N121. We would say 8700 is better but where is Motorola now? Vanished ....
I might be wrong in some ways but i'm just sharing my thoughts. Please advise.

If i had to use a Motorola i would see it as a good sign that i had generally failed in life.
