Hi,

as some others, I just upgraded my phone to R2F004 today...
One thing for sure is that the screen update thing at 4096 colors is not on the menu this time, according to the service menu tests services (screen test) it still does display 256 colors. I ulploaded some pics to the phone it they still show the way they did before, so no change here. As for the rest, the only thing i could notice is a very small improvement of speed in general and particulary when opening sms inbox & outbox, the wait seems to shortened noticeably and the typing seems to be a little more fast too.
But it seems that this version is a minor soft update that does fix some minor bugs. Just to do some cleaning in the code but nothing new!
Anb btw, R2F004 is not a rumour...

Nope

Still the old damn menu. No new tone (still tone and clicks), and nothing to customize the sounds or to make it last longer/louder

As I said, they just seem to have use all the time to remove the bugs instead of putting new things on top of it. Which in some way is a good thing... Gotta wait for the next one to get something new I think...

Well, one thing I just found out is that the battery drain problem we had every time we shut down the phone and on again has disappeared. I tested it multiple times, the battery level still stays the same and the approx. time left menu doesn't change either (or you loose max one hour but it mostly due to the fact i was going through the menu...).

Well that something at least...
