£70 every 3 months for 1/2 meg unlimited soon to be upgraged to 1 meg for the same price
it was a good price when i first joined but it is expensive to what i could get elsewere
bulldog are apparently very good
thinking of changing in november (long way to go) hopefully to 2 meg or above

Yeah, I thought about doing that but I get an 0800 number for dial-up access as well which I use on my Laptop when I'm traveling. Can't use penny-a-minute dial-up because I'm always using somebody else's phone line, and the extra fiver per month is worth it

do you guys get the download speeds specified ? like for a 512kb connection, do u actually get 512 kb/s download speeds ? I used to have a 56 kbps dial-up connection but i never got 56kbps download speed anytime....
Right now i have a LAN internet (SOHO)connection (i dont know what the speed is

) i get download speeds of upto 25kbps and rarely upto 150kbps (at non-peak hours) and i pay 6 GB pounds per month, unlimited

oh i understand now, im sure broadband has been around for more then 2 years? i remember getting it from aol atleast 3 years ego,

Thought I should catch up on this thread and see how much faster some of you have gone....
My house in the UK is running a 2Mb line but switching to 8Mb this week.
(The Jap house is running a 100Mb Fibre Optic line...)
