just phoned orange about my upgrade due in june and was quote £30 for the phone im on onlie120 plan and i was shocked how cheap it was. expected about 90 quid and was goning to ask for disconnections and tell them i was leaving for a better price but now i dont have to

Like you I was gonna go for disconnections, I'm on an O2 100 tarriff anyway so it doesn't make any diffrence to me if I have to move to O2 to get the phone free.
I like Orange though.
