This seemed to help, but I believe that turning off the sleep mode clock is the main reason for it not crashing.
Try it, hope it will work for you too.
I already had the sleep mode clock off when my phone crashed. IMO it has to be something else.

I got my phone 3 days ago.. no crashing so far. Are you sure its not a old sim-card that makes it crash? My sim-card is only couple month old. I have heard old sim-cards can cause these kind of problems.

Standby crash problem solved?
I've had a lot of crashes on my phone since I got it, usually it crashes at night. Yesterday I turned off some features on the phone, and I had no crashes on the phone all night!
What I did to my phone was this:
Turned off the sleep mode clock
Removed the animated background and replaced with a non animated
Turned brightness down to 90%
Removed the animated screensaver
This seemed to help, but I believe that turning off the sleep mode clock is the main reason for it not crashing.
Try it, hope it will work for you too.
i've not crashed once yet
have the sleep mode clock on
non-animated wallpaper (only because i like the sexy black background with the white font of the tiles theme;-))
full brightness
have taken pictures on all settings & videos
all good so far.......
>Stuart PHave my phone since saturday and using it with a bluetooth hbh-600 hands free
no crashes in standby since saturday (fingers crosses)
and no crashes while rotating pics even the full resolution ones
sleep clock is on
theme i am using is eternal

My phone has crashed 3 times now in a week. Twice in the last 24hrs. The first time was on my first day so i just thought nothing off it til now. I have now switched off the clock, but i miss it so far, i liked having the clock. Hopefully SE will hurry with a fix to this.

I went and changed mine after 6 days of constant crashing.
The new one's been up for 14 hours now, clock and everything on, and it works just dandy. Keeping my fingers crossed...
