@greysler
I agree the K750 pictures used in mobile-review to compare with N90 were not good. But have you realy looked at those posted in this and mobile-review forum for instance ? If you had, you would have realised how good K750 pictures can get and that without CZ lens and for the half price of N90 and much better battery performance.
Concidering the size, weight and price of N90, I don't think it will affect the sales of K750 by much.

Millions and Millions of nokia phones are sold every year by millions of consumers. They can't be all wrong.
There is apperently billion of flies out there that think sh*it is tasty. They can't be wrong either or could they ?
@mario2002
Most S60 apps out there will not work with N90 due to the size and resolution of the screen. Eldar at mobile-review has already tested it.

k750 with CCD... hmmm.... yeap... that would certainly ridicule the N90...
as for the N90. seriously u gotta be really dumb to buy such a thing
with the same money u can get a Sony DSC-T33... which is a very compact 5megapixel digital camera that takes amazing video clips: 640*480 at 30fps. !!!!
and u also have money left to buy a small and useful SE phone. eg. k500 !!!

well i happen to be a SE fan although i never underestimate nokia cuz they make excelent fones
however when looking these photos the k750 looks a little blue compared to the n90 and although k750 makes amazing photos it seems to me that the pic from the nokia n90 is better
and just a little off topic does someone happen to know in which country this pics were taken?

And talking about the picture quality. I think the N90 does't have only a better lens system but also a better sensor ! CCD versus CMOS . Actually I am pretty sure of this,althou in a few moths we should see K750's with a 'decent' sensor too

Heh, so how do you know it has a better lens and sensor ?
The reality is, we've no idea how good the sensors and lenses used in both phones are unless we're mobile phone engineering experts. People can go on all day about CMOS vs CCD but it doesnt matter since we're not in a test lab to be able to determine which is better scientifically.
We're all just basing what we see better as our opinions, theres no point in talking about phone hardware unless we completely have the facts - which we dont.
Could someone possibly post a good example of where the N90 outperforms the K750i's camera ? im yet to see any example which convinces me that the N90 has even a good camera, never mind one that can compete with the K750i.

My camera-test K750i vs 6230i
K750i / 6230i
I used highest quality on both phones.
I did not take the pictures over and over again to get them as good as possible.
Last picture didnt turn out well on 6230i since it doesnt have macro, but it looks great from K750i!!

Wow,did I fired up this tread or what ;-) Buddies,I am not a Nokia nor a SE fan.I simply pick up the handset which comes closest to my wish (feature wise) and thats it.For me at least the big 'down' concerning the K750i is - NO EDGE - Anyway,very nice and usefull phone indeed.And the N90 runs just about all of the S60 software ! Is backwards compatible as any other S60 device. Its screen resolution is exactly 2xX and 2xY only to keep it fully S60 compatible ;-) Greetings from South Africa. Mario.

nice comparison klorin i must say the more shots i see from the k750 the less impressed i become. its seems its fantastic at close up stuff but when you take pics from a slight distance the whole background seems to get far to blurry as in those shots.
mind you they aint bad for a phone at all just dont live up the hype that people have been claiming on here for a while.

Its doesnt seem to do that on my K750i, look at the horizon in this picture (click it to enlarge it), sure its not totally pixel perfect, but thats because its simply not possible with a 2mp camera. Not even my 5mp cybershot camera takes them much better or sharper than the K750i.

No, at present time it does not. Since you have not used it, I suggest you read the review below instead.
Unfortunately, the Nokia N90 failed to run the majority of the applications made for Nokia smartphones. The main problem was the screen resolution, every attempt to redraw an image for a high resolution resulted in smartphone restart. And correspondingly, the SPMark04 also failed.
http://www.mobile-review.com/review/nokia-n90-en.shtml
Also about the bad battery performance.
Unfortunately, everything is not as smooth with the battery life. A standard Li-Ion BL-5B battery capacious of 760 mAh is used. For you to compare, the majority of today smartphones has a BL-5C capacious of 900 mAh. There are no expanded capacity batteries for the N90 and they are unlikely to be provided. The claimed standby time is 240 hours and up to 4.5 hour of talking. In reality, the device worked for about a day in Moscow networks (about 18 hours, to be precise). Using all the functions actively and mainly shooting shortened the battery life to a half of a day (about 3-4 clips with the duration of 2 minutes each and up to 60 photos). The main charge is spent on the two screens, a louder call signal as compared with the previous models and mechanic rotations with one or another phone mode turning on after. And the entire mechanic enchanting spectacle is not traceless for the device. The most economical N90 users will keep it alive for a day and a half and then the device will remind of a charging necessity. One should account on the battery enough for a day in case of 40 minutes of talks and up to 30 minutes of using other functions. Using the device longer will seriously decrease the battery life which is a minus. The big weight of the device prevented from increasing the battery capacity to 1100 mAh or more. That is also a shortcoming.
Never the less, N90 will for sure be a good phone. But IMO its not worth the money. Personly I think N70 is a better choice if you are an S60 fan.
