WTF is that loop thing! Antenna? Looks more like a bloody handle for carrying it around! I am certainly not impressed by that phone!
I can see why SE have made it, every class needs a low end varient, which the K series has a good few of but to bastardise the look of the S700 is just plain wrong!
Still think it isn't wise leaving out the memory stick, why put a 1.3MP camera in it! Even the D500 has more memory than that, and they are quite similar in specs. It will strugle to compete with the D500, especially if the price is not tailored just right for the market!

What?
It's not low class. It just doesn't include a memory slot and THAT's it! Its so you can put a strap on it, if you used your brain. The S700 is far too huge and bulky for my liking, but each to his own. you were WARNED of Ellen weeks beforehand, the design shouldn't come as such a shock, it's for youth. I don't know the dimensions yet.

@~DC:UK~
I agree!! I think the loop antena is most definately the worst thing

have ever thought of, and I thought this stupid design would stop with the z200...

Thaks masseur for that info, nice dimension and design for youth!
I think that is a great phone, and probably will be best sold phone in middle end class

It's not about constantly outdoing previous models. There needs to be a balance and all gaps have to be filled.
Now consumers will have a choice, flip, swivel, 2MP, Walkman, basic low-end, high-end, Smartphone...etc
Great range IMO.

What a waste. They could have really gone somewhere with this phone. All 4 phones seem to be downgrades. But this one is the one I'm most disappointed in. The S700 is a much nicer phone, with it's memory stick duo, larger screen, sleeker looks. This thing looks like a cheap toy. BOOOOOO!!!

S600 reminds me too much of my k700.
And it's a downgrade from an s700.
So these are all lower end phones than s700, k750, z800.
We'll have to wait a while for an "s750" i think.
First there is the next p-series to be announced.
Can't wait.
