In my view, if you compare like for like features between Nokia and SE phones, i feel that the features are better implemented by SE. All my opinion, of course. I don't need a smartphone so don't bother coming back to me about how good nokia's s60 phones are cos i really don't care. Nokia do produce some nice phones but there is always something that has let down each phone. Take the 6230. Good phone, but the screen is small and is horrible.

honestly i like both pretty much the same. i think Sony Ericsson phones are more technologically advanced in some areas, and have good looks. But Nokia also has amazing reception. I've had Nokia's all my life, and got my first Sony Ericsson which is leaving a really good impression on me about the company. I don't think i'd go with any other brand other than Nokia or Sony Ericsson. I don't like Moto, don't like Samsung, LG, Panasonic, etc. SE and Nokia are my favorites... and it's hard to decide which is "better."

The logo is a very important aspect of a cellie, if the logo is cool the the phone is cool, which make the user looks cool too. I want to be cool so i prefer SE.
Nokia have no logo = uncool.
Please take the logo seriously in deciding what cellie you will buy.

hey guys!! its not all about the logos.. its about the design and feature of the phone... yeah... SE is cool.... but i dont like the bluetooth feature.... its only designed to connect to other bluetooth handsets,(not to shared files suck us pics, tones, etc.) on my experience, coz i lately bought a SE t68i... (i dont know the new models of S.E now)..... so what does the "quickShare" of SE mean? havent tried the new SE handsets..
ok...ummm... to give a good heads up, SE's bluetooth doesn't go only to other bluetooth handsets. Hello! computer bluetooth! Printer bluetooth! Even Nokia can't do that, where have u've been? Its Nokia who only limited its Bluetooth until its smart enough to unlock it like SE. I've been sending tones and pix from phones, computers, pda's to my Z600! Quickshare means its bluetooth settings allow fast connection and transfer. Another heads up, TRY THE NEW SE PHONES!

After looking around, for me it's mostly Sony Ericsson, Nokia or Sharp. In Australia Sharp phones only exist in Vodafone unfortunately, but the GX25, GX30 and 902 aren't bad at all. Is there something I missed about the disadvantages of Sharp? After narrowing down to these brands it's a matter of which model I buy, not the brand or their logo.

I agree, the logo's got to be one of the coolest aspects of SE. I wish someday they could make the solid green ball bounce around in all SE logos on their phones, now that would be cool
