Hi juiceme2max,

What are these two applications for? Are they both freeware? Any download links to them?

Thank you in advance.

Arez, that's a cool app, but on my K750 it asks for read and write permissions about 6 times each for every folder access (in java permissions I can only set it to "always ask". "ask once" is not an option).

Do you find this? I wondered if I should compile it for a different phone?

Max, that is the price for having a free not signed from SE app. To avoid those messages, the guys who made readmaniac had to certify their app with SE, then allowying it to run without all that security

For instance, the HP print app is signed, and so is the puzzle game that comes in w800 - both this 2 midlets have acess to file system, but you donŽt get those annoying messages like with readmaniac

All we can wish is that people come up with more official apps for SE phones...but it might be difficult to get them free

For people having a gps receiver, MobiTrack is also a good software for using with k750, and now thereŽs also another option, activepilot

http://www.activepilot.de/sup[....]ng=de&hersteller=Sony-Ericsson

This looks more developed than mobitrack, but for now it looks limited to Germany, Austria and Switzerland

Cool, just as long as I know I don't have to worry about whether I can fix it or not! If I know that just the the way it is I can deal.

Shame SE don't make it easier for developers to sign their apps...

Hi celltech,

Try to use the SEARCH feature in Esato Forum, there's a specific thread discussing the Opera Mini.

Good luck.

Hi Arez,

Do you mind sharing with us here about how to open any text files (.txt) from either internal or external memory using this ReadManiac reader?

Thank you.

Hi neox,

You can found information about Opera Mini at:

http://www.opera.com/

And you can access Mobile MSN at:

http://mobile.msn.com

But I'm not sure if Mobile MSN has a feature of messenger.

Hope this help.
