why does it say that there is no available update wioth my sim free w810i? its a generic middle east cda but SEUS keeps on saying that there is no available update not even R4CK.

here is my experience with the w810i...
a couple of days ago I got it as a second-hand buy, the previous owner of this phone had been using it for about a month. It has the firmware version R4CE012. When I started using this phone, there were these all-known bugs such as blinking flashlight, photography failures in a bright conditions, shortcut resetting. Of course, I wasnt very satisfied with all these bugs. Things started to change after some period of usage. After the first restart, I have not seen blinking flash anymore. As far as I have tried to compromise the phone taking pics in bright daylight, the camera hasnt shut down anymore too. The shortcuts were dropped only for the first time (I had the same situation with my K750), now I may change the themes as often as I want, shortcuts are still there. What I was trying to say is that there are almost no probs with the phone no more, and of course, I have no complaints about it!
If to be honest, I saw no need of apdating the firmware. But there is still one "but" - the speaker of the w810 (not the loudspeaker, but the one is used during the conversation), is much more silent than the K750's. And that is the major problem. Using the K750 sometimes I had to turn the volume down, but with the W810, the volume bar is set to its maximum value all the time, and using the phone in noisy environments sometimes may be very challenging indeed.
That is why I decided to try to upgrade the firmaware to the latest one.
Using the SEUS was unsuccesful, it reports that the phone has already the latest released firmware installed. I tried to update several times, no success. The version of the SEUS is the latest one.
I've also tried apdating via phones internal update module. When checking for update, it finds, that there is a new version of the sw available (about 1290KB in size), it allows to download it, what I did, but after the installation has started (there are kind of three steps of the update process, each marked with a different animation), it says something like this - "an error occured - installation unsuccessful. a log will be sent to server...".
So I'm stucked with the R4CE012.
A friend of mine who also has the w810i with the R4DB005 sw, says that his mobiles earspeaker's volume level is loud enough, sometimes he has to turn it down.
So I'd like to ask the w810i owners, who have successfully apdated from R4C to R4D, is there any earphone volume difference between these fw versions? Or any other differences? for example, how about the LCD screen saturation - it seems a bit too oversaturated for me (compared to K750 or w800).
My region - Latvia, phone is unbranded, network - free, prgCXC 1250316_GENERIC_HN...
Any ideas, any suggestions? thanx in advance!

Dude stop cross posting! This thread is for firmware issues, updating, differences in firmware, well etc you get the point.
However, I think there MAY be a Java app that can absorb SMS text within it. I'm not too sure though, that you need the search function for. Besides why do you NEED to constantly store more than 200 SMS messages? besides what you send, receive or file, you shouldnt even NEED to keep more than 90 at best. you need to prioritize which SMS' that you NEED to constantly refer to ... either save those to SIM card OR create a Note out of those and sync with iCal/iSync on MAC or Outlook on PC.
I loves my W810.

Hi Guys,
Just purchased a W810.My firmware is Hong Kong. When I search my phonebook I have the same problem I used to have with my K750 China: It only takes the first letter when searching for a name, Do you guys with other firmware have this problem? And if you don't, do you know if it's possible to switch to a european firmware?
