cant seem to run a update at the monent, when I try to connect it tells me the service is unavalible and I need to try again later. Anyone else got this?

Bugs with R7 firmware
1. Flip Closed: open HTML Message is too slow
2. Flip Closed: Reading a message and switching to Flip open mode makes the messaging app crash
3. The web browser crashes while opening

4. The default type mode is numeric instead of alphabet while typing web address in Opera Mini and default browser
5. While in Flip Open Mode and replying to email message, typing is erractic. the cursor jumps to the end of email suddenly, and there is no way to scroll back. If you type a wrong word and want to go back or delete is there is no way. Using the scroll wheel the curson does not move but the window switches from email to attachment TAB.
More buggy for me that R5 firmware. Come on Sony you are making me regret this purchase after a long wait.

Wlan IS NOT WORKING PROPERLY with latest firmware.
With the last one (before R7A) it worked for me perfectly, but now it stay connected WITHOUT PROBLEM but the browser do not find the server.
I know I have my lan configured OK because before R7A it worked for me.
This happens to me with the preinstalled browser and with Opera Mini.
Hope SE fix this problem soon.

I installed the dataviz application right before updating to the newest firmware and when I try to reply or forward an email received through the activesync account, literally every type of Kern-exec error flashes continuously until I hold down the power and restart
Has this happened to anyone? Any solutions?

Might be a local problem then since it works for me and others. Have you tried to delete the wlan-account and config it again? I would also try to test the phone with another wlan if possible.
Just to make sure there is no problem with the connection to one you are using...

www.ebay.co.uk and no problems with messages in FO mode with the latest firmware. Also no problems with wifi.

is the sever working for you guys? When i run the updater I get the error:

had that all today and have never preformed a update on my lappy so want to check if its my lappt or the server

At first it wouldn't update for me and kept saying I had the most recent version but I noticed when I let go of the c button that I kept getting an error in Windows saying the device was not functioning properly. I had already turned off Anti virus and Firewall so what I tried was using another USB port and this time the found new hardware box came up and this time it said the hardware was ready to use, the updater then found an update and it updated the software.
Thought I'd post that just in case anyone else here might of been having the same problems as me.

WIFI is acting strangely over here too. Somehow it is not possible to access local servers with internal IPs... just very strange. I run the latest firmware; unfortunately I haven't tried with the old one... Lets see whether this gets fixed.
