the 4 button problem was intoduced with this fw - along with a few other niggles but i think that the improvements to the camera are worth it.

Yes, this firmware has the 4 button problem.

The problem seems to be with the icon only. The shortcut still works as before, except the icon doesn't update until you've pressed the shutter to focus...

just checked if an update was available for UK o2 branded devices and none available...
Was going to put a GW cda on the phone and try again but having problems with the PC suite at the moment, i cant sync anything to outlook so i am not going to try anything until my contacts are safe

I upgraded, but I am not too happy about it:
- Menus and switching apps seems lower (although this is very subjective)
- screen sensitivity decreased. Often when I touch it, the click sound sounds, but no action es taken except highlighting the button or Icon, this is very irritating.
- I uses IMAP push. It now asks every time if a mail should be downloaded if I select it from the list.
What should I do?

hello everyone
i am new to this forum . i own a pi1 jus bought it recently and got a software upgrade done from the service center
this is the status after the upgrade:
phone:CXC162037 R9K009
BLUE TOOTH:CXC162143 RD1
ORGANIZER: CXC162108 R6G04
CDA: CDA162024/73 R9A
is this the latest firmware?? btw i am from india.
also i have a peculiar problem since the time i have bought this phone and the problem persists even after upgrading the firmware. my phone hangs if it is inactive for more than 3 hrs. also if not used for a couple of hours the the calling and sms feature gets disabled automatically and i have to restart the phone by removing the battery as the start button also doesn't work in this state. i was told by the sales person from whom i got the phone that flashing might solve this problem??
any king of help will be deeply appreciated . thanking in advance to all the members
