So - I'm not very positive today, I guess - but we won't have nicely done transition, transparency and layer- effects on the menus and programs very soon. I don't think SE is really thinking about any of that. But it's possible we're going to see how "UIQ"(read: SE's extra software, phone- tools, contacts, messenger) should've been at the first release this year. And that will mean noticeable speed- increases, most likely.
hopefully you are right.

@benitorios.
Thanks, had a look at some photos online after what was said about the W960, I'm sure it's a responsive touch screen and also if it wasn't I wouldn't care as it offers much better protection and is no doubt easier to wipe the fingerprints off too!!

Clearly...all the bickering will not change anything. We need to stop this. It's pointless.
Actually it might make a difference. It's user requirements that makes new features.

I complained about SE not having a candybar smart-phone in non-PDA range. Obviously some others wanted the same since we now got G series. Maybe in few years we'll even get HSDPA integrated, if we bicker long enough, hehe.

That would be a good sign that at last UIQ programmers realized some improvements had to be made.
Except HSDPA support! Grrrr....

Yes agreed, however if any changes are expected do you think it will be incorporated in an already announced model?

Well, they might come up with a G910 with HSDPA and whatever improvement they'd like to throw in. Hope is what keeps each and everyone of us alive

The presence of a joystick type attachment alone gets my interest, The P990i with the flip up was so much faster for swapping tabs and dealing with email than my P1 or W960 I really miss it!
