I'm now running R3EA037.
Initial impressions are the thin font is back and the display seems considerably brighter.
Menu navigation is smooth with no pause.
We'll see if it remedies random shutdowns.

hey there. i know this will be a stupid question but anyways.
is firmware the same as software version on the c902?
like does the firmware get upgraded with SEUS? or do i have to update the firmware a different way. because i know that there is firmware version R3EA036 but my SEUS says my phone is already up to date even though the firmware is R3EA031
can any1 help?

Firmware is the same as software version and there is no such thing as a stupid question. I learned all my modding capabilities from this forum and its members.
New firmware is released specific to certain regions. It contains languages for that region. This is why SEUS won't update your phone. They read your CDA number to determine which firmware is the latest for you area.

just updated to R3EA037......and guess what ? old great LCD settings is back, LCD: 200804080, now the screen is really vivid again. (no more dark LCD: 200712200) ...still cam driver 2.1 but i get better pics then with latest 028 (which was really weird)
