Anyway, video makes clear that is not usual QB.
Also, it would not make sense to call "next gen" if it was something already being used.
I hope it is not just for the 24mm.
Has anyone noticed back panel has texture? Play video 0.25x speed and see when they show T* logo. I hope it is not plastic leather like chinese phones.

Can confirm dual layer

Yes, with dual layer sensor, the full well capacity is near 1 inch. The next sensors will all come with dual layer, next generation of 1 inch with dual layer will be a beast.

Well i was dead Wrong. Here is my next prediction: next pro will not have dual layer 1.2 sensor and neither will be able to record RAW video via hdmi off some sony video camera
There we go.
If they make new Pro, it is based on 1.
Pro is equal to 1ii.
If they give new tech to 1v, obviously next pro-i gets as well.
Since I was wrong with the prediction maybe I get wrong with the prediction of next PRO-I and we do get it with dual layer 1/1.2 or bigger sensor and we do get the option to record RAW video off Sony FX cameras via HDMI and we do get that 7" 4K screen

I have only noticed now because sony shows it pretty close. There is nothing anywhere about the other devices. 10v and 1v are not the only ones already certified. I have seen claims that 5v to show up now too.

Considering how stingy sony electronics is, I do not expect 10v to have something better than old/lame 586 or even weaker version called 582 ... 😒😒😒😒😒😒😒.
When it should have at least triple 557.
If this tech is that expensive, be ready to see cheaper phones with omnivision and samsung sensors only. Also old exmors. Hard to imagine phones below $700 with this tech any soon.
Curious to know why it does not use 2x2 ocl sony semi is so proud of.
** BONUS : gossip says periscope has 1/2.6". If you see page 1 and look at my wishlist, there is 1/2.6" for periscope. Sony has taken my ideas again? Why am I not getting paid?

Pro-i does not have hdmi to be used as monitor. Also xperia acts as EVF, despite sony uses word monitor. I doubt pro is gonna have successor any soon. Pro-i probably.

Looking at the camera stack render in official video it seems there are no aperture blades integrated into the lens.

From Undead on weibo (he is very mad and frustrated)
" It's very irritable. Let's say a few words. All the excuses for not using bayer high pixels are bullshit. I can tell consumers for Qualcomm first that whether it is 48mp 12bit or full-pixel raw output, or full-pixel hypersampling, all bottlenecks are not in ISP and Qualcomm. The problem lies in the mobile phone factory. OEMs and Sony, one is unwilling to use a high-quality optical mirror group, the other chooses to be the same as the same, and even their own test field is unwilling to give the highest specifications, but chooses to give other mobile phone manufacturers as experimental reference, but they are unwilling to give more."
" Speaking of which, I'm just unhappy with the Japanese's temperament. Damn it, You have made major technological innovations, and the result is to reduce costs? Can the pattern be smaller? You use the dual analog layer to make a high-speed bottom of 1/1.3 or 1inch 48mp bayer dpaf, and then do the quadbayer cost reduction, but no one said you. Is it a quadbayer cost reduction model demonstration? Is there any good? quadbayer has occupied the main stage for 10 years and you still have a credit for Sony."
" The last one, you cut the cost, right? Top flagship imx903 or his quadbayer? Is the single pixel size enough? Is it still him?[Angry]I don't want to use the fruit, right? It's better to let me see that the next generation of pro I uses bayer cfa's imx903, otherwise it's really boring. The next ten years will be the world of quadbayer."
From Cat Nya :
" It seems xperia still needs resolution and advertisement will mark out the full pixel OCL alone. After all " full pixel 2x2 ocl focusing" is a debuff, although there are some "partial 2x2 ocl focusing" cmos , but it's still mainly marketing "full pixel 2x2 ocl" which has lead some people to produce "2x2 ocl " must be full pixel use false illusion. Omnivision with the most "partial 2x2 ocl focus" looked at it and called mullet. "

I can't pick up what he is saying. Is he mad at Sony for not doing quadbayer or for doing quadbayer this time around?
