i have just turned off norton firewall and went into control panel, security centre to turn off windows firewall and this cam up

"windows firewall settings cannot be displayed because the associated service is not running. do you want to start the windows firewall/internet connection sharing (ICS) service"

i click yes and it says it cannot connect the th ICS service

i need to turn both off as turning only norton off will not let me update my k700i

Do you have to get a DSS-25 sync station to update the software on my K700. Apologies if this has been answered!

yes only a dss 20 or a dss 25 will work

Hi everyone, i tried also this update service, but allways got the following message " The application reported an undefined error "

I got this after this page:

"Preparations completed
Application starting...
The application will soon open in a separate window. "

Have a windowsXP with SP1
My first idea was that i have to disable my firewall, but the same again.
Any other suggestions? HELP me pls
